Note: The fee to register for the weekend’s celebrations is compulsory. It includes your registration pack, unlimited digital photos, a guided school tour and admission to our official opening ceremony.

High Tea
3pm – 5pm


An opportunity to enjoy High Tea in a relaxing environment while reconnecting and reminiscing with old school friends. With delicious savoury and sweet treats to tempt your taste buds this function promises to transport you back into those memorable school years.

Cocktail Function 5.30 – 9.30pm


Find your decade and recapture your childhood. There will be continuous tasty food and a cash bar. This night of festivities is about celebrating what you were and what you’ve become with fellow school friends. Explore the past, the present and the future of the College with us. Note: Your ticket includes admission to the After party.

Not ready to go home yet? The party will continue on and the bar will remain open until midnight.

Available for purchase will be tasty food by RobOw’s Spit Roast. LIVE MUSIC from local Waikato band ‘Who’s Asking’.

All those years are stripped away when you reminisce with old school friends. Allow your taste buds the pleasure of exploring the various food stations and enjoy the Cash Bar operating with Good George beverages. LIVE MUSIC from Peter Mair & the ‘Good Ole Boys’.

Church Service



Join us for a non-denominational thanksgiving service. Hosted by the Matamata Intermediate in their school hall.

Centenary Book



Grab an everlasting memory of Matamata College with the Centenary Book. Launched in conjunction with our celebrations, there will be a limited number of books available for purchase. Filled with rich history about the college, (covering from pre 1918 to 2018) this book is great value for money.
