The organisation of this momentous celebration is well underway!
To date we have received great interest and already have over 1200 people on our email database, and many more via social media.  The Committee is working enthusiastically to make this weekend a fun occasion, and one to remember.

The organising Committee is being chaired by Lynette Stanley and we have a good number of ex-students working on the Committee.  An Event Manager has been appointed to assist with the organisation so we are planning a very professional event!

The big news is that the date for the Centenary weekend of celebrations has changed.

It will now be a week earlier than initially planned.  Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th March 2018 and not over Easter as previously published.

The reason for this is that costs were becoming prohibitive as a result of holding it over Easter weekend as functions on public holidays incur surcharges.  As flights are unable to be purchased more than 12 months out we are hoping this change of date will not affect any plans people may have already made.  We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible so spread the word and put the new dates in your calendar.
A preliminary programme is as follows but is subject to change as we develop the weekend:

Friday 23 March
Registration, School Tours, High Tea (in Decades) around 3-5 pm, followed by a Cocktail Party.

Saturday 24 March
Official Welcome and Opening, School Tours, Sports Events, Get-togethers and an Informal fun evening with dinner

Sunday 25 March
Morning Service, excursions and opportunities to visit places of interest within the town and the surrounding district.
